Personal Training

Our mission when working with you on your goals is to ensure fun, variety and a unique spin on your training, while keeping your sessions safe and effective. Adam has a broad range of experience and interests from his years working in gyms and particularly specializes in 1-to-1 or paired Personal Training, Pilates tuition, Posture/Alignment, Core strength, Mobility, Pre/Post Natal Exercise and Running technique/form correction and Injury prevention.

Adam has his own private Personal Training facility called StartStrong Gym, based at Hunts Farm in Timsbury, near Romsey, but he also trains clients around the Romsey/Winchester/Stockbridge area in the great outdoors or at their homes. Personal Training workouts are available in 30 or 60 minute sessions. All equipment is provided for the workouts and tailored to suit your needs/requirements. His qualifications include:

Initial consultation / taster session – FREE
30 minute Personal Training session (gym) – £30 per session
Individual pay as you go or one off 60 minute Personal Training session (gym) – £40 per session
Block of ten 60 minute Personal Training sessions (gym) – £350 (£50 discount, equivalent to £35 per session)
60 minute Personal Training session (at home) – £40 per session (location dependent, please contact for quote)
60 minute Paired Personal Training session (gym) – £50 per session

All clients receive a FREE initial consultation to discuss their goals and (if appropriate) a taster session of what to expect from training with Adam. There is no obligation to join as a full client and any questions you may have will be answered. We will discuss your goals and if there are any special considerations we need to take into account (e.g.
injuries, surgeries, conditions etc).

1st Workout

During your first workout we will perform a few simple health checks (PARQ questionnaire, blood pressure etc) and then any optional fitness measurements you would like to perform (e.g. body measurements, weight, BMI etc). These are re-taken regularly to monitor your progress and then your workout structure and progressions will be discussed with you. Workouts are not set in stone and can be adjusted at any time.
