Here we go! As some of you are aware, i took my Go Pro with me as i ran the London Marathon with the view that it would help me keep a low pace and take my mind off of the pain! Here’s the video, apologies for some of the shaky filming! I tried to capture the whole experience and atmosphere, so you can see the level of support you get whilst running.
Special Thanks:
Everyone who donated, whether it was online, a local money box, at one of my classes or Personal Training sessions. Your amazing generosity has raised nearly Ā£2500 for the MS Society. The Rapids, Sundae’s Child and His ‘n’ Kids in Romsey for displaying posters and money boxes. Friends and family for your unwavering support throughout the training (especially Soph :-)). Everyone who came on the day to cheer for me. Dad for traveling so far to see me run. ShirtySomething for printing my name on my vest. The MS Society for sending me all the materials to help with raising funds and for the vest to wear. Jim and Sue for offering me a lift home when i was hobbling down the road on my disaster final training run! Everyone who cheered my name and shouted during the marathon itself, i tried my best to acknowledge everyone and high five the kids, sorry if i missed anyone, you have no idea how much this all helped! CharityUKNews and the Romsey Advertiser for posting my articles online and in the paper. Friends for helping me carb load the day before!
And thank you for watching the video š
